Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentHi, One thing that would definitely benefit those who are just starting with Chinese astrology is to learn when the "change" between the Signs is taking place... For example when the Rat year changes to an Ox year. First of all this "change" (which also marks the Chinese New Year) happens once every year. Because the Chinese astrological calendar is aligned with the moon movements, the Chinese New Year falls on day when the moon is in specific phase (New Moon). And not only that, but it falls on the first New Moon of Aquarius (according to the Western Zodiac). So, the animals (Signs) "change" every year on the first New Moon phase of Aquarius (End of January, beginning of February)... I hope that helps...

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom Comment[Chinese Signs & Fruits]............ [Rat]-->[Strawberry]. The stone is garnet is a similar color, the color red is one of the rat's colors, and it is a fire sign......... [Ox]-->[olive]. Green and black are colors associated with the Ox......... [Tiger]-->[Grape]. Colors of the Tiger are green and blue, it's gem is the sapphire -- also generally blue......... [Rabbit]-->[Blueberry]. As the Gem is pearl and it is round, so are blueberries......... [Dragon]-->[Dragon Fruit]. The passion flower, the passion of venus, the earth......... [Horse]-->[Orange]. Orange is one of the colors of the Horse, topez gem is also orange......... [Sheep]-->[Kiwi]. The Sheep's gemstone is green like a kiwi. Green is also one of the Sheep's colors......... [Monkey]-->[Peach]. The colors of the sun, intensity is of the power trine......... [Rooster]-->[Watermelon]. I chose the watermelon because it is red like many roosters and is of the earth, since watermelons are close to the earth when growing......... [Dog]-->[Pear]. White is one of the Dog colors -- the flesh of the pear is white. There are also red pears -- red is one of the Dog's colors......... [Pig]-->[Apple]. Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentI just want to say a few things about Chinese astrology and its 12 precious gemstones. Experts say, that Chinese astrology comes from traditional calendars and ancient astronomy. It has established a close relationship with Chinese philosophy that revolves around Water, Heaven, and Earth. This is well known as the "Three Harmony Theory"....... Due to this theory, there is a very thin line between Chinese astrology and the elements coming from Earth, Water, & Heaven. These elements, specifically called gemstones are now being used as symbols to represent the signs found in the Chinese Zodiac. In addition, these gemstones form a strong bond through a spiritual relationship involving individuals, who belong to a particular sign....... Currently, there are 12 powerful and valuable gemstones here on Earth. They are named Ruby, Garnet, Sapphire, Citrine, Aquamarine, Pearl, Topaz, Peridot, Diamond, Amethyst, Emerald, and Opal. Each precious gem has its own characteristics and is associated with a sign that belongs to the Chinese horoscope. Astrologers claim that every gem can bring luck and protect whoever owns it..........

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentPlease let me say a few words about Chinese Horoscope and the Magical Numbers of Eastern Philosophy! Numbers define who we are and what we stand for. It's unfortunate for the many that grow on this world without having established their purpose for being created....... Chinese astrology which dates back centuries ago, uses numbers (numerology) to help you in your path to self discovery and realization of what you have to achieve in this big world. Chinese numerology has been the overriding pillar for penetration of Chinese people and their success in any sector...... To start with the numbers, we should first mention that Chinese philosophy defines that ODD numbers represent the Sky, the masculine and Yang energy; while the EVEN numbers represent the Earth, the feminine and have Yin energy............

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentEvery girl is in love with a certain flower....... My best friend is blindly in love with roses, my sister with tulips, my grandmother with Jasmine....... The list goes on. I love tulips, roses and Jasmine; however, when I came across one article discussing Chinese astrology and numbers and their association with precious flowers, I got an instant fascination...... And now, I am madly and deeply in love with a different flower, my own flower. Yes, MY and I mean MINE....... Chinese astrology is related with the most precious flowers on Earth. As I am born in the year of the Snake, my precious flower (that the Gods assigned to me) is the Passion. Scientifically known as Passiflora or Passionfruit, this is the flower that embodied my personality. Chinese people use this flower as a food plant and a medical herb too...... This multi-purpose capability of my precious flower also reflects to my persona. Passion flowers are ideal for decorative purposes too....... I also love lavender, and that is my flower's color. This flower makes me feel more beautiful, can you believe it? I am jealous person, and so is my flower. Indeed, I inherited some of my characteristics from my flower........

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentNumber zero represents everything or nothing, its potential is unlimited or it can remain unexplored for ever....... Then we got number One (1) which corresponds to the sign of the Rat and has Yang energy...... We have number two (2) which is feminine. It is a symbol of duality which corresponds to the zodiac sign of the Ox...... The offspring of 1 and 2 is number three (3), which is associated with progeny and corresponds to the Chinese sign of the Tiger........ Next, number four (4) which is associated with unity of the family, an extension of our security. It is associated with the Rabbit..... Next comes number five (5) which is a very lucky number and is represented by the Chinese Dragon. With number five we discover Wealth, Happiness, Luck, Longevity and Prosperity (The five Chinese pillars)........ Moving on to number six, which is associated with the ever-lasting zodiac sign of the Snake. Numbers six deals with True Wisdom and Power.........! Then comes, number seven which symbolizes accurate timing and great success in working environment, it is represented by the sign of the Horse........ And here is number Eight (8) which is a pillar of reminding us the balance between our deeds and spiritual matters. Eight is associated with the Chinese sign of the Sheep......... Last but not least, number Nine (9), which is hive for the better understanding above the average thinking. This number is a symbol of the Monkey, the most inventive of the signs!

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentChinese Zodiac is associated with Life and Time, Time & Space. As a living thing, Passion flowers truly symbolizes LIFE itself....... Whoever has this flower in their home should be aware that it is a synonym to the attraction of luck...... Which among the flowers of Narcissus, Carnation, Violet, Jonquil, Sweet Pea, Passion, Rose, Larkspur, Gladiolus, Aster, Marigold and Chrysanthemum you find yourself attracted with? Maybe you can find yourself amused as to how these flowers will make your life more spiritual and worth living..... Sometimes, all you need is a little boost up for more luck and fortune to come and a healthier life to live with. Find your fate in the FLOWERS...

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentAmong the 12 gemstones, I prefer the gemstone Citrine, which is associated with the Rooster. This is a personal favorite based on my sign in Chinese astrology. Citrine contains/attracts attributes such as: Abundance and prosperity. It is also known to help people succeed in Academics, Education and enhances a person's Intellectuality...... Citrine is also associated with Science, Creativity and creation and the True Wisdom..... According to Chinese legends, this gemstone is believed to be "The Stone of Success" and it should be used only by people, who are true hearted & generous. In the past, Chinese emperors worshipped this stone because of it's power to broaden the mind and increase intellectual capabilities...... When I was still at school, this gemstone gave me good luck in my exams and other academic endeavors. Today, I know that this gemstone is perfect for me. I use it to constantly attract abundance and prosperity. The Citrine stone will remain in my possession as long as I live. For others, it may also become the "key" to abundance and wisdom....

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentOne of the most important & powerful Sign-Element combinations (that is, the combination of the Ruling Chinese Sign of the Year, with the Ruling Universal Element of the Year), is definitely the WATER-SNAKE.......-....... Water being the last and the most powerful of the 5 Elements (my opinion), always laughs at the end because "Ends" usually comes with Water (Water=could be just a heart-breaking tear or a huge, disastrous tsunami!) .......-....... The Snake on the other hand is the Ruler of wisdom, the one who knows how the System of Life works. The Energy of the Snake always advances peoples minds during the year... Expect huge changes/advances on a global scale when the Water-Snake arrives...Thanx for giving me the chance to add my drop of wisdom here...!

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentChinese astrology was developed during the Han Dynasty, the period from the 2nd Century B.C. to the 2nd Century A.D. It is closely tied to Chinese Philosophy and the principles of "Yin and Yang". It has its roots in the famous "Wu Xing Teachings", the "10 Celestial Stems", the "12 Earthly Branches" and of course the Lunisolar Calendar and Shi Chen ................ All these concepts are completely novel from the perspective of Western astrology and can reveal very interesting insights into a person's lifestyle, character, emotions and your prospects for the future.
By azalon on 2012-12-25 02:20:52
Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentA basic understanding of Chinese astrology's basic concepts is necessary to appreciate its prophecies. "Wu Xing" has the following five planets associated with different symbols: Venus = Metal/White Tiger ....... Mercury = Water/Black Tortoise ....... Jupiter = Wood/Azure Dragon ....... Saturn = Earth/Yellow Dragon ....... Mars - Fire/Vermillion Bird ....... A person's destiny is determined by the positions of Sun, Moon, the major planets and comets, his time of birth and Zodiac sign. An alternative system, called "Zi Wei / Dou Shu" computes one's fate and destiny based on one's birth season, birth hours and birthday. Again, the 28 constellations used for reference in this astrological system are different from the 88 constellations in Western science.

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentThe calendar used in Chinese astrology, called the "Luni-Solar Calendar" entails a 60-year cycle, which itself consists of two different cycles that interact with each other. The first cycle consists of the Five Elements (Fire, Wood, Metal, Water and Earth) in Yin and Yang (black/white) forms. The second cycle consists of the 12 animal signs of the Zodiac system, namely: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. ....... By determining your Chinese zodiac sign, you can find out a lot about yourself. In order to know this, you would have to check your date of birth according to the Luni-Solar calendar. You can find all these details and a lot more for free on this website. ....... Thanx to Duan Minh!

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentI want to say a few things about the Element of water as it rules my life and I have studied it a lot in many astrological and occult systems etc......... We all know that Chinese Astrology is based on the belief that the whole universe is made up of five basic elements, Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal....... Water is the basic among the five. Water is the mother of wood, and then wood creates fire and so on. People who have their Zodiac element to be water are as calm as standing water. They are very gentle......... If water is your Zodiac element then you are very diplomatic and flexible. You always tend to find an easier way to solve a problem. You get easily acquainted with others. You hate to be aggressive, it sometimes makes you lazy........ Persistence is your biggest advantage. Although you have the power to break or take on anything that comes your way, you always want things to be settled in a smooth manner........ Resilience is your key feature. You also hate to even stand up and fight when attacked. You people should try to avoid water-laden areas and you people are generally vulnerable to cold......... These people generally like salty flavour and chestnut being their favourite fruit. You people also have the ability to influence others thoughts, can become an excellent counsellor or guide

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentPeople who visit this site should know that Chinese Horoscope has 12 signs, which are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig and The [Snake] ....... I want to say a few things about Snake people since I know many of them and I am also married to an Earth Snake! ........ The Snake comes sixth in the cycle in between the Dragon and Horse years, and its year recurs every twelve years. In accordance to this, we see according to the Chinese Lunisolar Calendar that the Snake sign is allocated to those individuals born in 1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001 and 2013 and so forth as the years continue (2025, 2037 etc) ........ The snake is a reptile known to terrify people since its bites are seriously fatal. This does not mean that people who fall under this sign are evil, on the contrary, when a woman in Japan and China is likened to a snake they receive it as a compliment since the Snake as a sign is seductive in nature .......... Those people who fall under the Chinese Snake sign, have various interesting qualities about themselves. They are wise and firm in their decision making since they rely on the first impression they get of something combined with their intuition (instinct) to reach to a sound conclusion ........ Snake people are superstitious too, that is a fact! Their ability to make proper decision and judgments makes them good at their work therefore they are successful in business and are rich too. They are stingy at lending out money but helpful in everything else ........ A problem arises when they help out since they become insanely obsessed with these people, a character exhibited by the nature of the snake to coil and suffocate items ......... Also, the people under the Snake sign are known to be deep thinkers and this makes them mysterious and appear graceful and soft spoken at first sight.

The second cycle consists of the 12 animal signs in the Zodiac system, namely Tiger, Rat, Ox, Dragon, Rabbit, Horse, Goat, Rooster, Pig, Dog, Horse, and Snake. By determining your Chinese zodiac sign, you can know a lot about yourself ......... In order to know this, you would have to check your date of birth according to the Luni-Solar calendar ......... Some systems have the Goat as the 8th Chinese sign, others like the one used in chineseastrologer.org use the [Sheep]

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom CommentIf I am allowed to add a few kind words about chineseastrologer.org instead of adding my wisdom, THEN here is some honest feedback: I first got in your site 4 years ago when I was financially and emotionally dead...... I don't mean to say that the site and it's tools and knowledge helped me to reverse my life. On the contrary, it was me who changed everything and now 4 years later I am successful and married with children...... But it was Duan Minh and chineseastrologer.org who turned this switch and opened my eyes! Do not hesitate to send her a message or read her free book about the Protection Shield...... It is a transformational tool for the subconscious mind! Many thanx Duan and I wish you accomplish your goals! I will also fund your organization as discussed... [Victoria]

Eastern Zodiac Wisdom Comment[Hi There], in your (Numerology Reading) what can you tell me about my life and my Financial Situation? Will I be able to get in touch with you in the future? What ever you find out about me and my Financial situation please send it all to my email {########@########.###} Thank END!! <MANOR> ............................ [ANSWER by Duan Minh]: Hello...... Thnx for the comment and for dropping by. I will give you advice after you provide me with your sacred numbers. You can always stay in touch with me via e-mail, facebook page, blog etc... The numerology report is not an actual report, it is a numerology tool. It will give you your sacred/magic numbers. Your primary number and your secondary number(s) if any. Then you can send me these numbers and I will give you my advice on your financials... The tool is really low priced so, do not have any hesitation!
